Riot Games introduced the Night.Market to Valorant during Christmas 2020. Here’s an overview of what to expect from the recurring discount store.
With the rapid updates Riot has implemented in Valorant, community feedback has been turning into real features for the tactical shooter. With that in mind, the studio has also been implementing things that’s worked with League players in the past.
Every once in a while, the League of Legends community gets treated with their personal store called ‘Your Shop’ with similar discounts based on the champions that you own. Night.Market is the Valorant equivalent of the fan favorite feature, and here’s everything you need to know about it.
The Valorant Night.Market is a rotating store that drops at random in-game. On offer are six different guns skins which are offered to players at a discounted price. Importantly, the skins are entirely randomized.
The Market is available for 32 days, giving you a whole month to decide whether or not you want to spend that all important cash.
There have only been two iterations of the store so far, therefore it’s unclear how often we will see these discounts pop up in-game. As soon as further information drops, it’ll be added right here.
When available, the Night.Market can be found in the top right hand corner of the game’s opening screen. It’s signified by a little card logo that sparkles to catch your attention.
Simply click this little icon and you’ll be given access to all of the discounted goodies. All you have to do is turn over the cards and that’ll tell you what skin is on offer as well as the percentage discount.
Additionally, the color of the card’s background and the little shape in the bottom right hand corner will indicate the tier of skin that this is. Unsure which is which? Check out our Valorant skin guide for further details on skin tiers.
Skins are completely randomized, and therefore you can’t choose what skins you will be given.
However, due to particularly scathing criticisms of the feature‘s first run back in December 2020, Riot have implemented a Bad Luck Protection guarantee to make sure you don’t walk away disappointed.
If you don’t own every Premium Edition skin then you will receive at least two Premium skins in your pool. Additionally, you can no longer get two skins for the same weapon to increase the variety on offer.
If you don’t own every PE, you’ll get at least 2 PEs in your pool.
You won’t get more than 2 of the same weapon.
If either of the above would result in you getting less than 6 offers, you will receive up to 6 offers from what’s available to you.

Once you have rolled a skin in the Night.Market you cannot change them. While this is a feature that fans have been expressing interest in for some time, Riot have not implemented this.
However, now that it’s clear that the feature will be recurring it makes getting a bad run of skins a little less painful that if it was a one off event.
That’s everything we know about the Valorant Night.Market! As we get a little more used to seeing the event in our store we’ll update this with all the information that we can. Until then, stay tuned to all things Valorant with our dedicated hub.
