T1 have completed their new roster after officially signing former CSGO pro Rahul ‘curry’ Nemani who was a stand-in for the team during VCT Challenger 2.

  • T1 Valorant signed curry as their fifth player.
  • Autimatic and curry replace Brax and AZK.
  • T1 has one more chance to qualify for VCT Masters in March.

T1 Valorant signs curry

The writing was on the wall with this pick-up after curry, 18, slotted into the team for Round of 128 and the Round of 64 in the preliminary stages of VCT Challengers 2.

T1 made the signing official on February 24, announcing that curry would step into the starting lineup after the org moved past Keven ‘AZK’ Larivière and Braxton ‘brax’ Pierce earlier in the month.

Since then, T1 signed Timothy ‘autimatic’ Ta as they looked to strengthen the core roster that includes Ha ‘Spyder’ Jung-woo, Sam ‘DaZeD’ Marine, and Tyler ‘Skadoodle’ Latham.

This five-man lineup had a promising start, beating NC State Esports 2-0 in Challengers 2, but were promptly eliminated in the next round against Headshot Percentage.

T1 will have one more chance to qualify for the first Masters event during Challengers 3, which is set to get underway on February 25.
