T1 have parted ways with Keven ‘AZK’ Larivière and Braxton ‘brax’ Pierce from their Valorant team, as the org is banking on new faces to revitalize the struggling team.
Newly instituted Valorant Head Coach David Denis is reshaping the team under his vision with a major change to the lineup. Banned CSGO prodigy brax along with teammate AZK have been let go of the team.
Many saw the dynamic duo as one of the most promising features of the T1 roster, but the team had been struggling to place at the top of events since its inception.
The writing was on the wall for the decision after the two pros didn’t make an appearance, or were even mentioned, in autimatic’s T1 reveal just a few days prior.
