A leaked image from OrglessV’ Daniil ‘pipsoN’ Meshcheryakov’s stream suggests that former FunPlus Phoenix and G2 Esports Valorant stars Johan ‘Meddo’ Lundborg & David ‘Davidp’ Prins are looking to join the team’s core – possibly under the Vodafone Giants Gaming banner.

OrglessV, who once played under ‘Prodigy,’ the team’s talent agency that informally represented the group for a stint, are still on the hunt for an organization to take on players like pipsoN, Vincent ‘Happy’ Cervoni, Ričardas ‘Boo’ Lukaševičius, and Aaro ‘hoody’ Peltokangas.

To that end, a new lineup could be in the works that includes Meddo and Davidp as possible contenders for filling out pipsoN’s core that now contains Happy and Boo, according to sources close to the deal.

Meddo last played for FPX during First Strike Europe where the team bowed out at 3rd-4th place after a 2-1 semifinal defeat to SUMN FC. He was surprised when FPX decided to part ways with him, but the two parties ultimately agreed to a mutual split.

PipsoN is reportedly forming a team with Happy, Boo, Davidp, and Meddo.

Davidp was a part of the impressive G2 Esports team that swept all seven Ignition Series events in Europe. After an unexpected flop at the First Strike main event, G2, filled with talent in every position, decided it was time to find a more suitable IGL and parted ways with the player.

An image shared on Twitter by Fragliders’ Diogo Santos points to Giants Gaming possibly moving on from their roster of Adolfo ‘Fit1nho’ Galleg, Salvador ‘Yurii’ Gasco, Francesc ‘donQ’ Savall, Jon ‘jonba’ Baraiazarra, and Miguel ‘eXerZ’ Marín in favor of this new project.

A Discord conversation between Head of Gaming at Giants, David ‘Lozark’ Alonso, and pipsoN revealed discussions about the possibility of including Meddo in their project, with a brief mention that Davidp could be in consideration.

PipsoN attached an image of texts with Meddo that clarified his intent to join Orgless after presumably talking to Prodigy Agency CEO Jérôme Coupez and a separate representative from Team Vitality.

Vitality have not announced their entrance into Valorant esports, though they hosted the Vitality European Open on July 10 which was an official part of Riot’s Ignition Series. The mention signals that the French team will soon enter competitive Valorant.

As teams are still organizing before Riot’s Valorant Champions Tour circuit gets underway in 2021, many more changes to these plans could be in the works.
