Players jumping into Pokemon Go are going to need a ton of items from the shop to aid them on their journey to catch ’em all. Here, you’ll find all of the currently available items, from Boxes to Remote Raid Passes as you venture out to fill up your Pokedex in November 2021.

The Pokemon Go in-game shop sells various items, from upgrades to boxes of bundled goods, and even cosmetics. The store is also often updated, with new items being added to boxes to offer players fantastic deals to add into their arsenal.

Pokemon Go shop upgrades

Upgrades are different from items, whereby you retain the benefit of them consistently going forward. There are currently three upgrades in Pokemon Go:

Item Cost (in PokeCoins) What it does
Item Bag 200 Permanently increases the maximum number of items you can carry by 50.
Pokemon Storage 200 Increases the maximum number of Pokemon you can store by 50.
Team Medallion 1,000 Allows you to change team (Instinct, Mystic or Valor) – can only be purchased once every 365 days

How to earn and buy PokeCoins

Before you buy anything from the shop, though, you’ll need PokeCoins. These can be earned in-game, for free, by defending gyms. You’ll earn one PokeCoin for every 10 minutes you are defending it, at a maximum rate of 50 in a 24 hour period.

They can also be purchased at a rate of 100 per $1, becoming better value the more you that you buy. North America has a better deal here, though, as 550 PokeCoins cost $4.99, but are the same price point at £4.99 in the UK.

How to access the Pokemon Go shop

You can access the store by clicking the main menu, which is the PokeBall in the bottom-center of your screen, and then clicking shop. The amount of PokeCoins you have available to spend is shown at the very top, displayed in the image above.

How much do PokeCoins cost?

Before being able to buy the items listed above, you’ll need PokeCoins. These are in the in-game currency for the Pokemon Go Shop.

As mentioned earlier, you can currently only earn these in the game by defending gyms, which can be time-consuming when trying to build up a large stash. Alternatively, you can buy them with real money. Let’s take a look at the cost:

      • 100 PokeCoins – $0.99 (£0.79)
      • 550 PokeCoins – $4.99 (£4.99)
      • 1,200 PokeCoins – $9.99 (£9.99)
      • 2,500 PokeCoins – $19.99 (£19.99)
      • 5,200 PokeCoins – $39.99 (£38.99)
      • 14,500 PokeCoins – $99.99 (£99.99)

*All prices have been obtained directly from the Pokemon Go app.
