San Francisco Shock’s Matthew ‘Super’ DeLisi took an opportunity to settle a year-old score with Houston Outlaws’ Austin ‘Muma’ Wilmot.

Super was one of the young stars that San Francisco seem intent on building their franchise around, a key pick-up for the team despite being ineligible for the first half of the season due to being underage.

Now that he’s able to compete in the league, alongside several other new additions Super has helped take the Shock to its highest placing yet in stage 3, with a match still to play.

In the Shock’s penultimate match of the stage they faced off against Houston Outlaws. It was a tough match, with San Francisco eventually coming back from a 1-2 deficit to take the series 3-2, thanks in no small part to exceptional play from Super (albeit with some help from Park ‘Architect’ Min-ho).

In their victory, the Shock not only overtook the Outlaws in the stage rankings, but also denied them any hope of reaching the stage playoffs at the eleventh hour.

After the game, Super took to Twitter to offer a “GG” to the Outlaws, but also included a clip from a year ago in which Houston main tank Muma is rather uncharitable about his skills.

It took him a while to get revenge for the comments but, having beaten the Outlaws in his first encounter with them in the Overwatch League, it seems Super wasn’t going to miss the opportunity to rub it in a bit.
