The long awaited Torbjörn rework finally hit the Public Test Realm last weekend, and players have discovered an interesting effect his new ultimate has on most of the other heroes in the game.
In his new Molten Core upgrade, Torbjörn fires balls of molten slag out to cover areas of the floor, heroes who come in direct contact with it receive 130 base damage, but they don’t seem to mind, in fact most of them sound like they really enjoy it.
All heroes were given new voice tracks on PTR that play when they’re getting burned, except for most of them sound like they’re engaging in some aggressive cuddling instead of being roasted alive.
Lucio is the one standout that actually sounds like he’s in pain from being dipped into molten slag, while the rest sound like they’re about ready to be done knocking boots.
The youtube video from CryBox7 Overwatch comes with a headphone warning for a reason, what normal person would hear this audio and think “Hey are they watching Overwatch?” No one, that’s who.
Along with the now entirely inappropriate Torbjörn rework, several other heroes are getting changes on the latest PTR patch, including Brigitte, McCree, Pharah, Orisa and more.
The Junkenstein’s Revenge Halloween event is returning soon as well, Overwatch Game Director Jeff Kaplan said the team is happy with where Junkenstein’s Revenge PvE mode is at, but there should be some new skins, emotes and sprays for players to collect.
