The Overwatch League and Twitter have announced a multi-year partnership that will bring more Overwatch content to the social media platform.

The partnership will start immediately, just in time for the Overwatch All Star weekend beginning on August 25.

Headlining the partnership will be a weekly show, called Watchpoint, that will stream live on Twitter during the Overwatch League season.

According to Blizzard, Watchpoint will offer “stats, match predictions, analysis, and more.”

I addition to Watchpoint, more media will be coming to Twitter in the form of highlights.

Twitter will drive Overwatch League’s distribution of near real-time highlight clips from every match of the Overwatch League regular season, playoffs, Grand Finals, and All-Star Weekend.

Of course, Overwatch League highlights already exist on Twitter, but this deal may mean more of them are on the way.

Daniel Cherry, Vice President of Activision Blizzard’s Esports Leagues, commented on the new partnership.

“From the inception of the Overwatch League, the community on Twitter has always been one of our most passionate and engaged. That’s why we are particularly excited to announce this collaboration, beginning with the Overwatch League’s All Star-Weekend.”

Notably absent from the Highlights description is the Overwatch World Cup, which is already underway.
