Are 100 Thieves the most exciting team to look out for in the LCS? We sit down with Misfits Gaming coach Maurice ‘Amazing’ Stückenschneider to discuss the team, and their performances within the plays off at the Lock In and beyond.

Discussing his former side, The Misfits Gaming coach wants to see how they evolve as time goes on, and has been impressed with Tanner ‘Damonte’ Damonte performances in the Mid Lane during 2021 so far.

Amazing also offers his thoughts on Cloud9 potentially bouncing back after their final loss, contending Barney ‘Alphari’ Morris & Jo ‘CoreJJ’ Yong-in’s sublime performances for champions Team Liquid, along with the issues FlyQuest have to overcome to start putting up more of a fight.

Coming into the event, however, many assumed TSM and FlyQuest would have dominated due to their star performances last year. Ultimately, though, it was Team Liquid who took home the prize at the world’s first-ever LCS Lock In event, beating opponents Cloud9 in five brutal maps, awarding them the lion’s share of $150,000, and proving that they are one of the region’s best teams.

While Liquid may have blitzed through the event, Amazing is most excited for 100 Thieves. He wants to see the team continue to evolve, and as he knows how they work, he knows that they’re willing to do what it takes to get to the top.
