The announcement games fans worldwide have been patiently waiting for finally came at the outset of Microsoft’s 2018 E3 conference, as they gave a first glimpse at Halo: Infinite.
Their was little more than a teaser trailer and confirmation that Master Chief will be back in the fray, plus of course a title.
It was previously leaked that the next Halo game, which would be announced at E3 would be named ‘Halo: Infinity’, which was pretty close to the final result.
There is very little else to go on however, but Microsoft may reveal more details as the event goes on.
The full trailer shows a glimpse of the Master Chief himself, and there is some impressive landscape shots, hinting at an expansive environment.
The trailer was followed by the explanation that Master Chief will be saving humanity once more in the new game, the first in three years since the release of Halo 5.
We will keep this story updated as more details come.
