Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins put on his analyst cap to figure out how he managed to win a game despite being in a seemingly impossible situation.
In a late-game situation during a game of Fortnite, Ninja was trying to outwit an enemy player while the two were in the midst of a buildfight hundreds of feet off the ground.
Things then took a turn for the worst when the ramp Ninja was standing on gets shot out from under his feet, sending him hurtling towards his impending doom. As he was falling, Ninjas can be seen nodding his head and accepting his unfortunate fate.
Moments before hitting the ground, however, Ninja is greeted with the signature sound effect signaling a victory Royale.
Sitting there incredulous as to what just happened, Ninja clutched his chest in relief while yelling: “Oh my God! Let’s go, baby!!”
Still trying to process how he managed to win against the impossible odds, Ninja pulls up the game’s Replay tool to dig into the situation.
After taking a closer look at the fight, Ninja discovers that his Calamity-skinned opponent also had the misfortune of falling from the haphazardly built structure.
The opponent was attempting to make a hero play by no-scoping Ninja with a Heavy Sniper Rifle, but the shot missed, destroying the ramp and causing the pair to go careening towards the ground.
Since his enemy had more momentum from jumping, he fell much faster, allowing Ninja to take the surprising Victory Royale.
Unlike in Ninja’s hilarious first game of Fortnite back in 2017, it was the builds of both players that ended up being the difference in this improbable result.
