Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins is widely recognised as one of the most talented Fortnite players in the world. However, even the best can fall foul to silly mistakes, as Ninja hilariously showed during a recent stream.
Ninja was streaming Fortnite alongside Timthetatman, Dr Lupo and Minnesota Twins baseball player Trevor May when the squad found themselves pinned down by an opposing team sitting above them on a hill near Retail Row.
The group began to build in an attempt to protect themselves from the bombardment of bullets raining down on them from the enemy force, with Ninja building a ramp, and pulling out his Guided Missile Launcher, ready to take on their opponents.
As Ninja fired his Guided Missile, instead of firing into the sky, the rocket went straight forward, crashing into the ramp he had built and dealing damage to the streamer. “Did you just blow yourself up?” asked Mays. “No,” replied Blevins, cheekily smirking to the camera.
Now on the ground, Ninja tried the manoeuvre once more, with the rocket again firing straight forward, colliding with a wall built by one of Ninja’s teammates and doing more damage to Blevins.
Finally, with obstacles cleared, Ninja had his chance to fire a rocket towards the opponents. Unfortunately for Blevins, Dr Lupo decided to build a wall right in front of Ninja just as he shot, and Ninja could only watch as his rocket crashed into the newly erected structure and knocked him to the ground.
“I did that dude, I totally did that dude,” apologized Dr Lupo as he revived his fallen teammate. “There’s a medkit in here, don’t worry!”
Ninja’s comical clip just goes to show that no matter how many times you play a game, nobody is safe from making a disastrous, but hilarious, mistake!
