The phenomenon of a house for online creators to live together and collaborate isn’t new. Before the Hype House, there was Team 10, Clout House, and Vlog Squad. But new houses for TikTok’s biggest stars are popping up all the time.

Here is an updated list of all the TikTok collectives you need to know about, what they do and who their members are, in Los Angeles and beyond.

Hype House

The Hype House is still growing

The Hype House, which started in December, is the most popular TikTok collective comprising some of the most followed TikTokers ever. Addison Rae currently stands as the second most followed creator on the app with more than 61.8 million followers, while Chase Hudson has 24.9 million followers. The group has recently moved out of their prior home, the former Clout House in Los Angeles, and make dance and lip-sync videos.

While Tayler Holder is still a member of the Hype House, he has since moved out with Nate, Kellyanne, and a few others. Although these two groups live separately, they are still described as being members.

You can use our Hype House guide to find out everything you need to know about the group’s members.

The Sway House recently lost Josh Richards and Jaden Hossler

Sway is a group of male TikTokkers living in Los Angeles and they often collaborate with members of the Hype House. The boys are known for creating mischief, lip-syncing, and dancing. Former members include Josh Richards and Jaden Hossler, who left to pursue their music careers.

The boys moved in together back in January 2020. In December 2020, however, rumors of the Sway House closing down were rife, much to fan’s dismay. Some of the house’s top creators, including Bryce Hall, removed Sway House from their Instagram profiles.

With Gray tweeting ‘all good things must come to an end’, it was looking grim for the hit creator house. Bryce Hall has since squashed this as a fervent rumor, claiming all of Sway’s members are still in the group.

After Daisy Keech fell out with members of the Hype House, she left and formed Clubhouse with Abby Rao. The group mainly dance and lip-sync, but they have also created ‘Clubhouse Explore’, a brand adjacent to Clubhouse where they document their travels.

Currently, there’s some drama between Clubhouse BH and Not A Content House, which sparks discussion about the future of the two houses – especially as they are known to be closely affiliated with one another.

The collective recently went to Tulum in Mexico.

Instagram: notacontenthouse
New members Katie, Eva and Anna recently joined Not A Content House.

This all-girl creator house posted primarily dance content to their TikTok, and in November saw the addition of new members Anna, Eva and Katie. Formed in August, this house posted its first image to Instagram on August 4, 2020.

However, the house didn’t last long, as starting from January 2021, several members decided to leave the group, including Lauren Kettering and Cynthia Parker later in February. Some of the members who left cited management’s misconduct as the reason for their departure.

Not a Content House is no longer an active house, but five former members went on to form a new group, Just a House, under the same management company after some staff members were “removed” from the team.

Wave House

Wave House, a UK-based creator group gained traction on TikTok after their bizarre influencer reveals, where the stars were unveiled using jewel-encrusted masks in a series of videos staged at their £5 million mansion. All members of the house have now been “eliminated,” though, with a recent TikTok comment stating that “it isn’t over yet… just wait for what we have planned.”

However, in a recent TikTok post from March 2021, the previously defunct house has teased a comeback.

This TikTok house with a combined following of 14.6million between members is based in Las Vegas. The content house itself currently sits at 2.7 million followers on TikTok.
Individuality is key with this house, all featuring their own looks, style, and unique personalities that allow their comedy to shine through. Collectively, though, their differences meld together for some hilarious videos. The collective sense of comedy features some quite dry, dark humor – setting them apart from other houses

The Lab

Instagram: thelabcontenthouse
Members of The Lab have started to be revealed, despite rumors of Dixie D’Amelio’s involvement.
This content house first posted to TikTok on 28th October 2020. There are 16 members, they have a combined following of over 100 million. The unique house introduced themselves first all dressed in hazmat suits.
With a slow face reveal of their 20 members planned, heavy rumors speculate that Dixie D’Amelio is a member. Brandon Calvillo and George Janko have been used to promote, so it will be exciting to see who is behind the suits as time passes.
Featuring captions such as “Remember, remember, the 5th of November”, “The gun powder, treason, and plot.” These are lyrics from the British rhyme that focuses on Guy Fawkes, a member of the failed attempt to blow up the House of Lords during the State Opening of Parliament on 5 November 1605. What this rhyme pertains to specifically for The Lab House will be interesting, but a dark vibe has definitely been set by the new house.

They’re a group of friends who started their own clothing brand about a year ago and now live in LA due to their success with the TikTok platform. Their previous account “stopped working” and with the fact that their current TikTok account is relatively new, it’s impressive that their count is already at what it is.

Just a House

Not a Content House in their first video as Just a House

Just a House was originally the Not a Content House, but after most of the members left following accusations of misconduct against management, the girls made it clear that NACH was no longer active.

However, after some members of staff were “removed” from the management company, five of the girls have returned to form a new house, Just a House, though they still appear to be using NACH’s old social media accounts under a new name.

With their first announcement video uploaded on February 13, it’s still early days, but fans are excited to see what these creators get up to with their new and improved house.
