PewDiePie took a break from his Minecraft series to upload one of his ‘You Laugh You Lose’ videos on August 10. While the Swedish YouTuber tackled various memes, many of the submissions were Minecraft focused.

One of the segments got the YouTube star thinking about crossovers with the sandbox game, and which one he would like to see happen the most.

PewDiePie calls for more Minecraft crossovers

Pewds prefaced the discussion by saying that he isn’t usually a fan of crossovers due to them often being corporate marketing. However, he argued “anything” would combine well with Minecraft.

“Usually I cringe at all these corporate crossovers, but please start combining Minecraft with stuff. I would love to see that happen. You can combine Minecraft with anything. It’s still going to be 10/10,” he said.

The Swede said he would like to see Marvel do a crossover with Minecraft. Considering they are one of the largest franchises in the world, it’s probably a safe bet that it would do extremely well.

“Oh my god, can you imagine, Avengers Minecraft edition?” Pewds said. Although specifically, he seemed the most excited about the idea of a Spider-Man crossover.

Minecraft has had crossovers before

Minecraft ‘Nintendo Switch Edition’ was released in May 2017, and included ‘The Super Mario Mashup pack’ which featured Mario-themed skins that helped transform the game into the popular Nintendo franchise.

Other major titles have also been featured before as skin packs, such as the hit Netflix series ‘Stranger Things’, and the massively popular role-playing game ‘Skyrim’. It’s actually kind of shocking that Marvel that hasn’t done a crossover with Minecraft – yet.
