Popular Twitch streamer and Fortnite player Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins’ promotion with Uber Eats reached its maximum amount of redemptions – in the span of a single day.
Ninja partnered with sponsor Uber Eats to bring his fans a 25% discount on their orders using the code NINJANOMS.
The discount wasn’t just limited to the United States, either. The promotion was available worldwide, and fans sent in pictures of their goodies to the streamer in celebration of the deal.
While the deal was initially supposed to extend to Tuesday, September 25, it didn’t end up making it that far.
The discount saw a quick end, thanks to its overwhelming success. Uber Eats posted the development on their Twitter account, where they revealed that the promo was so lucrative, it had reached its maximum amount of redemptions.
While existing users can no longer take part in the promotion, new users of the service can still redeem the discount using code EATSNINJA.
The promotion was presented in the form of a challenge to the streamer: for every kill he took in Fortnite, he would likewise win fans 1% off of their Uber Eats orders. However, the promotion had a time limit – Ninja could only take part in the challenge from the moment he ordered Quizno’s through the service until the food arrived at his door.
Within that time frame, Ninja won fans a total of 25% off their orders, and the service has already been used to its maximum capacity.
No announcement has been made regarding an end date for code EATSNINJA – but the promotion could likely end on September 25.
