Jake Paul and ComedyShortsGamer (Deji) have come face-to-face in ‘gloves off’ interview, mediated by former World Champion boxer Johnny Nelson.
The pair will fight on August 25, before their older brothers, KSI and Logan Paul, take to the ring to battle it out and settle their beef.
KSI originally called out both Paul brothers to fight, but when his brother Deji got himself involved in the back and forth, it was decided that all four would headline the event.
So far, two press conferences have been held in an attempt to build further anticipation and hype for the matches, which will be a pay-per-view live event on YouTube.
However, to say the press conferences didn’t go to plan would be an understatement, after both were cut short. The first when a brawl broke out on stage, and the second when Logan simply dropped the mic and walked off abruptly.
So, in an effort to get some real conversation and animosity built up between the fighters, as opposed to meaningless chanting back and forth, they have sat face to face across the table from one another.
The tension between the two was palpable, as Deji remained unmoved in his presence, calling Jake a ‘p**sy’, and in response calls Deji nothing but a ‘gamer’ who has never trained in his life.
The pair continue to throw words across at each other, while Nelson remains calm and to his credit keeps the conversation somewhat civil and on topic.
They also later touch on the type of content Jake Paul makes, as Deji suggests all his fans are 7 year olds. Jake then flashes his expensive watch, saying “does it matter if they are seven year olds?”
Before the discussion closes, both fighters seem to concur that all the talk doesn’t really matter, and it all comes down to August 25 in the Manchester Arena.
