With Castlevania season 3 now available to watch on Netflix, fans of the video game franchise-turned-anime have reason to celebrate the world over – including cosplayers.

Kim, better known by her online handle ‘Maliciouskcosplay,’ is one such costumer, and showcased her excitement by posting a photo of her dressed as the Dhampir character Alucard.

In the timeless video game series, Alucard is the son of Dracula. His name is a palindrome, as it’s Dracula spelled backwards. Originally, the character first appeared in the 1943 horror film “Son of Dracula,” but went on to be a playable character in Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Curse on the NES and later in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

In the Netflix series, which is an adaptation of the third game, Alucard joins Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades on a quest to defeat Dracula.

It’s safe to say that Maliciouskcosplay did an excellent job capturing the half-vampire’s look, while still adding her own flair to her version.

Kim captures the more “regal” gothic elements of the hero with his intricate overcoat, cape, black boots, and blonde hair, even completing the look with Alucard’s white cravat.

Additionally, the look features the Vampire Prince’s yellow contacts and sharp fangs to round out the ensemble.

In one of the cosplayer’s most impressive photos, she stands by a waterfront with her cape blowing in the wind. “Who’s ready to binge season 3 of Castlevania?” she captioned the picture.

Aside from Alucard, Maliciouskcosplay has also modeled as characters from a number of other franchises. From Nintendo alone, she has dressed as Shiek from The Legend of Zelda, Olimar from Pikmin, Peach from the Mario series and the Pokemon Magnemite.

Her non-Nintendo cosplays include Wonder Woman, a Twilek from Star Wars, Chucky from Child’s Play and even Dragon Ball’s Chichi.

With such an impressive repertoire, it’s anyone’s guess what the model will have up her sleeve, -especially if there’s a season 4 of Castlevania.
