Halo caster Alex ‘Goldenboy’ Mendez took a surprise jab at CoD player James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks when Austin ‘Mikwen’ McCleary failed in a similar fashion to the Call of Duty legend.

Renegades was playing TOX at HCS New Orleans, leading 10-7 early on in an Oddball match.

Mikwen was sneaking around the outskirts of the map with Active Camo on and attempted a difficult jump to flank TOX. It went about as well as Wuskin’s dive.

Of course, falling off of a map is the signature move of Clayster, who’s movements during the jetpack era of Call of Duty created a meme on the level of Nadeshot’s HBR.

That was not lost on Goldenboy who immediately referenced Clay after the fall.

Some bloopers were to be expected as Halo developer 343 made significant changes to their game leading up to HCS New Orleans.

Oddball was added as a competitive mode and three new maps from the Forge community became a part of the HCS rotation.
