After running into a trash talker during his epic return to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, FaZe Clan’s Apex decided to hand out a brutal beating on one of the game’s most popular maps.

FaZe Clan’s co-founder had to delete Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on his console to free up space for the notoriously sniper heavy game, but once he got going, it was all about Free-For-All on Highrise.

The streamer, who has over 4.7 million subscribers on YouTube, finished fifth in the game with 1200 points before he was flooded with Xbox messages. The first he showed us was from ‘king hevn,’ which said: “Good to see you back on MW2”, however one player seemed to want a challenge rather than a conversation.

A message from Las Mortas said: “1v1 MW2 Rust and if you don’t accept, then you will have five years of bad luck”, which is not the standard way to ask for a one-on-one sniper match on the famous Call of Duty map.

“Oh wow, I’ve got to 1v1 this kid on Rust. No way. I did not think that this was going to happen. I did not think this is what my day was going to be,” he said before setting up the lobby. “Here we go bro, let’s go.”

Yet – even after all of that – Las Mortas never decided to join the game. Instead, PackinHeatPooba, who called Apex a “bearded short”, joined the lobby and the challenge was finally on.

Apex raced into a 9-0 lead against his opponent, while Las Mortas continued to send him messages, but the gamer was too busy destroying his opponent to reply.

The “despicable” game ended 20-2 to the YouTuber, with one of PackinHeatPooba’s kills coming from a throwing knife and the other from when Apex was trying to no-scope the player for a while. After realizing the gulf in class between the two, the player swiftly left the lobby at the end of the game.

All talk, no action.
