Apex Legends Season 11 is fast approaching, and it’s a big one — the November release will add the long-awaited Titanfall Simulacrum Pilot Ash, a new map, the C.A.R SMG, and more. Here’s everything we know, including its exact release date.
Season 11 will be the next and final update of 2021, and it’s a big one. After Olympus’ launch at the end of 2020, a fourth battlefield will be joining the rotation in Season 11.
That’s not the end of it, with Titanfall’s Ash, and the C.A.R SMG weapon, also making their grand entrance, alongside a host of other balance changes and a ranked rework.

Season 11 of Apex Legends, named Escape, will start on November 2, 2021.
This also means you have until November 1 to wrap up your Emergence Battle Pass and grind for those Volt skins.
While the launch trailer has been released for Apex Legends Season 11, the gameplay trailer is still on its way.
It is scheduled to premiere on the Apex Legends YouTube channel at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST on October 25, and you can watch it above after it goes live.
Ash is back from the dead — well, kind of — in Apex Legends. After Jack Cooper “killed” her off in Titanfall 2, her Simulacrum body has been put back together to participate in the Apex Games.
While her kit hasn’t been revealed just yet, the launch trailer did showcase her creating a portal with her Titanfall-inspired sword, and she also had a stun akin to the Ronin Titan’s Arc Wave ability.
We will likely learn more about Ash in October 25’s gameplay trailer before her full launch in Apex Legends Season 11 on November 2.
A year since Olympus was added into the Apex Legends map pool, a new battlefield will be joining the rotation in Season 11.
At present, though, it’s under wraps — the Escape release page simply states: “A storm is brewing. No matter how beautiful it seems, every corner of the Outlands is a dangerous place. You’d be wise to remember that.”
The map was initially showcased in the launch trailer, featuring sunny beaches and plenty of critters ending Mirage’s holiday swiftly. This implies the new map will likely involve some PvE content like Trials on World’s Edge, and the leaks have confirmed that somewhat.
Like Ash, we will likely hear more details about the new map — including its official name — once the gameplay trailer launches on October 25.
Good news, Legends — more firepower is coming in the shape of the C.A.R. SMG in Apex Legends Season 11. It’s a popular weapon from Titanfall, making it a great addition alongside Ash.
EA’s description reads: “A flexible weapon, the C.A.R. SMG is the gun for when you’re ready to make a stand and become the last Legend still standing.”
Exact details on how the C.A.R. SMG works will be revealed on October 25 in the gameplay trailer.
Despite initially shooting down claims of a ranked rework, Respawn have confirmed an update will be coming to Apex Legends Season 11.
The developers have been tightlipped on specifics so far, but communications lead Ryan Rigney told players “there are some changes to how KP will be calculated.”
Keep an eye out for the full list of changes ahead of November 2 so you can start your ranked grind off right.
We can also expect some updates to the Firing Range in Season 11, inspired by changes in the mobile version of Apex.
This could include a third person mode, 1v1 mode, unlimited ammo, and difficulty settings for bots.
However, this hasn’t been entirely confirmed, and there are no changes listed on the official EA site yet.
There will also be changes to some of the existing Legends, and players will especially be hoping for a Wattson buff, and maybe some more Crypto updates as well.
